India- Bound Volkswagen Tayron Debuts In China: PICS
Volkswagen has unveiled its latest SUV, the Tayron, at the Beijing Motor Show 2024. This model will be named Tiguan L Pro in China. Volkswagen Tayron is a stretched version of Tiguan that was launched last year. It will be available in both 5 and 7-seater Configurations.

The Volkswagen Tayron features an aggressive front bumper for top-tier R variants, flared wheel arches, and a tailgate with wraparound LED tail lamps.
Interior
The interior of the Volkswagen Tayron features multiple screens—an infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a passenger-side display running on Volkswagen's advanced MIB4 interface.
Features
The center console hosts a wireless charging pad, drive selector dial, and various controls, while comfort features include powered seats with memory function, massaging, heating, and ventilation options, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, head-up display, dual-zone climate control, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Powertrain
The Volkswagen Tayron offers a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with two power outputs in China. paired with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and optional all-wheel drive.
Performance
The entry-level variant of Volkswagen Tayron produces 184hp and 320Nm, while the higher-spec variant produces 217hp and 350Nm.
