Chhattisgarh polls: LK Advani to woo voters today

Raipur: In a bid to woo electorate, Bharatiya Janata Party patriarch LK Advani will on Saturday address rallies in poll-bound Chhattisgarh.

BJP`s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi and Congress chief Sonia Gandhi and vice president Rahul Gandhi have also addressed rallies in the state.
Advani, the former deputy PM, will be addressing people in Kasdol, Bilaspur and Bhatapara today for the second phase.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, meanwhile, addressed a rally in Raipur today to encourage voters to back Congress Chief Ministerial candidate Ajit Jogi.

Security has been beefed up across the state.
Eighteen Constituencies spread over eight districts in south Chhattisgarh will witness voting on November 11 while the remaining 72 segments will go into polls on November 19. As many as 985 candidates are in the fray for 90 seats.
