New Delhi: Days after CCTV footages of couples getting intimate on their trains were leaked and uploaded on porn websites, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has asked people to maintain "decorum and etiquette" while travelling on the metro.
Reports on Wednesday said that the DMRC has issued a statement in this regard and asked the commuters to behave properly.
The appeal from the DMRC came after another video surfaced online, showing a couple getting intimate on the stairs of a Metro station and inside a train. DMRC spokesperson Anuj Dayal said that the video clip is being investigated.
Earlier, over 250 clips of couples in near-empty trains were made into two-to-eight-minute videos and uploaded on porn sites. As per reports, the leaked CCTV videos were viewed by at least 1.5 lakh people.
The net users referred to the leaked videos as "metro porn" ever since they went viral on internet.
The DMRC later complained to the cyber cell of the Delhi Police and blamed the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) for the leakage as it monitors CCTV footage.
However, the CISF denied it, saying they were just the monitoring agency.
The metro ferries nearly two million passengers on weekdays and makes over 2,800 trips daily.
After the CCTV footage leak, both the DMRC and the CISF plan to strictly monitor the movement of couples at the metro stations.
