Lady Gaga is a true trendsetter for she took the fashion world by storm while she sported a meat dress at VMA’s 2010. The ‘Poker Face’ singer’s much talked about dress inspired young designers to embrace the meatier side of fashion.

Lady Gaga’s wardrobe is always bursting with wacky outfits and her accessories range from eye-catching specs to a telephone hat.

Featuring in her first concert in New Zealand early this year Lady Gaga thrilled her fans with a burning piano, blood and a latex nun outfit!

But, the ‘Telephone’ singer who considers Donatella Versace her muse identified herself as the major fashion influence when she shocked the world wearing a ‘meat dress’ at the Video Music Awards this year.

The outrageous and controversial meat dress (click for pics) caused quite a stir among the fashion world, animal lovers and activists. But, this didn’t stop a popular American jewellery company to create a ‘meat-lace’, a (faux) meat necklace. The unisex ‘meat-cessory’ was a direct inspiration from the meat dress made famous by Gaga.
