Zee Media Bureau/Tarun Khanna New Delhi: Two days after filing his resignation to the party, BJP`s four-time MLA Harsharan Singh Balli on Sunday expressed his anger towards the BJP for not giving him party ticket from Hari Nagar constituency. Balli, whose seat has been given to Shiromani Akali Dal for the Assembly polls, accused Parkash Singh Badal of pressurising the BJP. He further said, “If BJP leader Arun Jaitley says that members are not important for him then he too doesn’t hold any importance for me.”
As per sources in the BJP, Balli was sidelined after allegations that he didn’t work in coordination with NDA ally SAD (Badal) in January`s Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee elections. Balli after resigning also showed his desire to contest Assembly elections on Congress ticket. Moreover, former south Delhi mayor Savita Gupta also resigned from BJP and hinted at joining AAP.
