New Delhi: Thanking the people of Delhi for his party`s good showing in the state Assembly Elections, the Aam Aadmi Party convener Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday that the results were historic in many ways. Talking to the Kejriwal said, "Politics of religion, money power, caste etc. has been challenged." "The polls were a contest between truthful politics and corrupt politics," he added. Lauding those who won from the party, he emphasized that the elections were fought with intent and integrity by the AAP. He also said that the people had shown that corrupt politics would not be tolerated. "Today`s results show that the public is fed up with the corrupt politics of BJP and Congress," he said. Accepting that the Bhartiya Janata Party had emerged with maximum seats in Delhi, Kejriwal said that they were prepared to be part of a constructive opposition and ruled out alliance with anyone. Further, he issued a warning for the two main national parties and said that both the BJP and the Congress had to be careful after these elections. "This is a victory of the people of this country," he said, adding, "It has become difficult for the people to live because of corruption. He also highlighted the fact that it was the first time that a party had given an account for its donations on its website and said that the AAP had only collected Rs 20 crores to fight the Delhi polls. While congratulating the BJP and its CM candidate Harsh Vardhan for doing well in the polls, Kejrwial said that he had no personal enmity with Sheila Dikshit.
