New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Friday expressed his gratitude towards the support of the masses through-out his election campaigns and rallies in the poll-bound Madhya Pradesh ahead of the Assembly Elections.

While thanking people today for attending his rally, Modi posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter – “The affection of the people of MP is extremely gladdening. I addressed 4 rallies across the state today.”

Highlighting the progress made by Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in agriculture, power and tourism development, the Gujarat CM tweeted, “Asked people to remember Congress rule in MP- there was no electricity, agriculture was not growing. This has changed under Shivraj ji.”

“Centre is moving slowly on skill development. Their skill lies in forming committees on the issue rather than focussing on the issue itself,” Modi added.

Recalling few Congress leaders view that a person can eat ‘roti and two sabzi’ for Rs 5, Modi tweeted, “A 'Gyaani' UPA Minister says prices are rising because poor are now eating 2 sabzis. Is this what they think of the poor? Why such mockery!”

Further while urging people to start voting early for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Madhya Pradesh scheduled on November 25, the BJP’s PM aspirant tweeted, “Start voting early. Vote for the Lotus & give BJP a chance to serve them once again.”

Earlier in the day, Narendra Modi today in MP addressed a rally in which he said, “Poverty remained the theme of the speeches through its (Nehru-Gandhi family) four generations starting from Jawaharlal Nehru but "nothing changed" on the ground.”
