The 2018 manifesto – “Bachan Patra” – will be launched by state Congress chief Kamalnath. Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia and other senior party members will also be present at the event.

According to sources, the manifesto will address the issues of farmer loans, employment, women security, Vyapam and e-trading scams and several others.

The Congress released its sixth and final list for the Madhya Assembly polls on Thursday. The party is left with just one seat, Jatara, for its ally Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD).

"With the final list out, we have declared candidates for 229 out of 230 seats," MP Congress spokesman Pankaj Chaturvedi said.

Madhya Pradesh is scheduled to go for polls in a single phase on November 28. Results will be announced on December 11.

Meanwhile, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will release its election manifesto 'Sanklap Patar' on Saturday. It will be launched by party president Amit Shah. The manifesto will focus on farmers and youth, state Agriculture Minister Brijmohan Agrawal said.
