Stop taking solid food as soon as the symptoms of Cholera appear.

After the first loose motion, patient should be given enema with warm water. After enema, the patient should be given warm water to drink and then steam bath. Then, patient should be given Hip bath for 15-20 minutes according to strength.

If loose motions do not stop give fomentation to the abdomen for 5 to 7 minutes. Immediately afterwards, Hip bath or Sitz bath should be given to the patient for 8 to 10 minutes.

Till the loose motions stop, the patient should be given doses of 50 gms of Sun charged water from Blue bottle at the interval of 5 to 10 minutes.

One day after the loose motions have stopped, the patient should be given fruit juice mixed with water 2 or 3 times a day.
