Mumbai: The first look poster of Bhojpuri film Bhauji Vidhata has been unveiled. The poster of the film was launched during an event in Delhi on Thursday. Producers Subhash Naagar & Udit Oberoi and filmmaker Padam Gurung were present besides the star cast at the event.
The film is based on the chauanistic society and revolves around a woman's struggle to emerge stronger.
The lead character will be played by Bhojpuri Cinema's Ritu Singh. The filmmaker will be presenting his message in an entertaining way so that the audience finds it equally entertaining apart from being meaningful.
The film as all the essential ingrediants of an entertaining film. We have tried to come up with a film that will deliver an important message in an entertaining way, said the filmmaker. Moreover, women have always been instrumental in the success of a society and they are in many ways superior than the men.
The film's producers said that the film will advocate equality for women and will promote Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative. The film has been shot in Greater Noida, Manali, Delhi and in the valley of Uttarakhand.
Ritu Singh is excited about the film because it is her career's master project. The film will pay tribute to women and will talk about their rights. She said, " Being a woman myself, I believe that women have to right to live their life on their own terms. Women have to empower themselves."
She is also nervous because the film is unlike her previous films. Bhauji Vidhata will highlight senstive issues such as child marriage, honour killing, right to education etc.
The film will also star Priyesh Sinha, Archana Singh, Shahid Shams, Rahul Jha, Nisha Jha, Kalpana Jha, JP Singh, Rinku Bharti and Sudha Jha.
The songs in the film penned and composed by Kumar Chandra Bhushan have been sung by Indu Sonali, Manoj Kumar, Alok Kumar and Khushbu Jain. National Award winning playback singer Udit Narayan too has sung a song in this film.
The songs have been choreographed by Padam Gurung while the action. Farookh Khan is the DOP and Taj Mahmood has done the art direction.
