Mumbai: The release of Khesari Lal Yadav's Damru much-awaited film has been postponed. The film which was initially slated for release on April 6 will not hit theatres on April 13. Technical issues have been cited for the delay.
Talking about the film's new release date, producer Pradeep Kumar Sharma said that it's a big movie and hence they wouldn't want to take any chances. There were some issues and the same has been resolved.
Now fans need not wait for too long to watch the film as its release is just a week away.
The producer said that the film has a unique concept and will entertain Bhojpuriya fans. The film has comedy and entertainment quotient aplenty.
The film has been directed by Rajnish Mishra, who has a unique way of filmmaking. The film's trailer was loved by the audience.

The film will present a new on-screen pairing. Yashika Kapoor has been paired with Khesari Lal for the first time. The audience has loved their chemistry. Damru which has been produced under the Baba Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd also stars Avdhesh Mishra, Padam Singh, Anand Mohan and Devendra Singh.
Damru is one of the most awaited films of the year because it promises to rid the Bhojpuri film industry of the 'vulgar' tag by delivering a clean film that will attract former fans again.
The film will have music composed by Rajnish Mishra and the songs have been penned by Pyarelal Yadav 'Kaviji', Pawan Pandey, Ashok Kumar 'Deep' and Shyam Dehati.
