The Third Front - an alliance floated by Pappu Yadav's Jan Adhikaar Party, Nationalist Congress Party and Mulayam Singh Yadav's Samajwadi Party, is a big worry for the Grand Alliance as it is expected to cut into its expected vote share in 2015 Bihar Assembly Elections. Tariq Anwar is the face of NCP in Bihar. The Front was formed after Pappu Yadav wasn't able to convince the BJP leadership to be a part of the NDA. Initially, NCP and SP were a part of 'Mahagathbandhan' - an alliance forged by Janata Dal-United, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress. However, differences cropped up over seat sharing and both the parties aligned with Jan Adhikaar Party to contest the 2015 Bihar Assembly polls. Yadav's Jan Adhikaar Party is trying its luck on 64 seats, the NCP is contesting 40 seats and the SP has kept 89 seats for itself.
