Lok Samvad Programme postponed as Bihar CM Nitish Kumar unwell

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's Lok Samvad Programme, which was scheduled to be held tomorrow, has been postponed citing former's health reasons.

The press release by the state government stated that the Chief Minister is suffering from fever and therefore, the Lok Samvad Programme was postponed.

The postponement comes in the backdrop of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) raids at Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav and his relatives' premises in New Delhi.

Lok Samvad Programme was started with the intention of getting people's feedback and suggestions on the state government's plans and policies.

Lok Samvad Programme was started for the promotion of necessary arrangements in the administrative system, policies and programs, as per the recommendations from citizens and positive suggestions regarding government policies, programs and schemes in public interest.

The programme is held every first, second and third Monday (except on gazetted holidays) of every month.
