N-trig today announced that its DuoSense pen and multi-touch user
interface has passed Microsoft Corp.’s requirements for Windows 8
certification with approval of a production-ready system from a major
OEM.

one of the first Windows 8-enabled devices to hit the shelves,” said

for a reference or retrofit, but this is an actual OEM system product,
approved and ready for production.”
DuoSense passed 100% of Microsoft’s requirements for both pen and touch
input. N-trig, which is working with Microsoft as a readiness partner,
is now entering the OEM production phase of Windows 8 certification.
