cippe 2013, the world’s largest petroleum expo will be held on March
19-21, 2013 at Beijing New International Exhibition Center.
cippe, an international professional expo arising in China, will see its
13th anniversary this year. The organizer revealed that this
event is expected to gather 1,500 famous Chinese and international
companies and over 50,000 professional visitors for on-site
communication and business talk. It is reported that the simultaneously
held cippe 2013 International Petroleum Summit, co-organized by the
cippe Organizing Committee and Petroleum & Equipment Journal, has been
regarded as a signpost of the industry.
As the world proceeds to utilize difficult-to-produce reserves,
potential tapping of onshore ultra low-permeability conventional
resources, reserve and production enhancement of major oil/gas fields,
development and reserve enhancement of unconventional resources and
deepwater resource exploration and development have become major topics
of the oil and gas industry’s technical upgrade and innovation,
requiring the transformation of China’s manufacturing industry toward
“intelligent manufacturing” and domestic production of the key tools and
equipment.
In order to encourage the innovation and application of upstream
technologies and equipment and accelerate the efficient development of
oil and gas, cippe 2013 International Petroleum Summit themed
“innovation, intelligent manufacturing the future” will focus on the
drilling, well completion, and fracturing technologies of deep and
complex wells, as well as research and application of drilling
technologies designed for deep and complex wells of the Tarim oilfield.
The summit will present two workshops to share the world’s leading
technologies and China’s innovations in this regard.
Frontline professionals from Chinese and international industry
organizations, oil companies, oilfield service providers, institutions
and equipment manufacturers will gather to discuss technology,
technique, tool and equipment issues. They will elaborate on the
difficulties in the frontline operations in China and the future trends
of technology development and application.
Besides, in order to encourage innovations and accelerate the
application of new achievements, the summit will launch an exhibition of
cippe Innovative Exhibit Award products, providing a product launch and
branding platform for the award winners and nominees.
According to the organizer, the cippe Innovative Exhibit Award will be
selected from more than 10,000 exhibits of 2,000 exhibitors, by a panel
consisting of a dozen of academicians and industry experts. Last year’s
gold prize winner was BH-VDT5000 Vertical Drilling System presented by
CNPC Bohai Drilling Engineering Co. Ltd.
During the summit, the bidding and sourcing officials of CNPC will
elaborate on the company’s supplies and equipment bidding and sourcing
process, while the overseas project manager will introduce the demand of
CNPC’s overseas projects for equipment.
