Aamir Khan unveils the teaser of ‘Secret Superstar’ – WATCH now

Mumbai: Aamir Khan took to Twitter Friday afternoon to unveil the teaser of his next – Secret Superstar – a film which is slated to release next year. Earlier in the day, Aamir posted a video stating that he has a surprise in store for his fans, and it is truly a pleasant one.

Aamir wrote:

‘Secret Superstar’ revolves around the aspirations of a 14-year-old girl from Vadodara who dreams of becoming a world famous singer but her father is against her taking up singing as a profession.

Zaira Wasim, the same girl, who plays one of Aamir Khan’s on screen daughters in ‘Dangal’, is the main protagonist of the film. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film reminds you of Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ which too had a child as its central character.

Slated to release on August 4, 2017, the film will see Aamir essaying a cameo.
