New Delhi: Bollywood stunner Alia Bhatt has once again proved her brilliant acting chops in recent release 'Raazi'. Her spy act in the thriller has won many hearts and left the audiences in awe of the 25-year-old talent. The film by Meghna Gulzar has not only fetched rave reviews but also set the cash registers ringing.

Despite the limited screens and several new films having been released recently, 'Raazi' continues to shine in terms of collection. On Thursday, the film collected Rs 32 lakh at the Box Office. However, with Salman Khan's action-drama 'Race 3' hitting the theatres today, it would be interesting to see if the film maintains its pace at the ticket counter or not.

Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and shared the latest figures. He wrote, "#Raazi is steady, despite limited screens/shows and constant flow of new releases... [Week 5] Fri 45 lakhs, Sat 80 lakhs, Sun 90 lakhs, Mon 32 lakhs, Tue 32 lakhs, Wed 32 lakhs, Thu 32 lakhs. Total: ₹ 121.22 cr. India biz."

It is an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel 'Calling Sehmat', about an Indian spy married to a Pakistani military officer during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. The film hit the screens on May 11, 2018.

On the professional front, Alia will next be seen opposite Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji's directorial 'Brahmastra', the first part of the superhero trilogy announced by Karan Johar. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role besides TV actress Mouni Roy in a supporting act.

She will be seen in Ranveer Singh-starrer 'Gully Boy' which is helmed by Zoya Akhtar besides 'Kalank' which stars Varun Dhawan, Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles.

The positive word of mouth publicity has definitely given it a good push.
