Mumbai: The premiere of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ starring Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, which was scheduled to screened this evening has been called off as a mark of respect to actor Vinod Khanna, who breathed his last on Thursday after prolonged illness.

Karan Johar took to Twitter to announce that the team of ‘Bahaubali’ has decided to cancel the special screening of the film tonight. He wrote: “As a mark of respect to our beloved Vinod Khanna the entire team of Baahubali has decided to cancel the premiere tonight...(sic).”

The film will hit the silverscreen tomorrow.

Khanna was reportedly suffering from cancer. He was undergoing treatment at the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre here.

A shocking photograph of the ailing actor had surfaced on social media a few days back and it left his fans and well-wishers extremely upset.
