New Delhi: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is known for his versatile performances on-screen, recently revealed that he will need to work a lot on his physique if he has to play the role of late wrestler-actor Dara Singh.
Akki explained this at the book launch of 'Deedara aka Dara Singh'. This is where he was asked whether he is ready to play the character of Dara.
"Dara Singh had a great wrestler body, I will have to change my body for that. I will have to expand in size, have more chest wise. He was a huge man. I will have to justify him completely," PTI quoted the 49-year-old star as saying.
He further said, “for this, I will require at-least two years to get that kind of bulk and look like a wrestler. If I don't have too many films (and) Vindu (Dara Singh's son) requests me several times then...”
Currently, Akshay is all geared up for the release of his upcoming film 'Jolly LLB 2'. It also features Huma Qureshi and Annu Kapoor in key roles.
The Subhash Kapoor directorial will be releasing on February 10 next year.
