New Delhi: Akshay Kumar's upcoming outing 'Gold' is high on the buzzword. The movie is a sports drama and is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment banner. The first look poster of the film reeked of patriotism and the teaser will give you gossebumps! 

The actor took to Twitter to share the teaser of the film.

As soon as it begins, the teaser takes us back in time. The lines- 'For 200 Years we stood up for the British National Anthem, until, one man's dream, made the british stand up for our Anthem'- from the teaser will instantly rouse your patriotic spirit.

The film features Akshay in the lead role with Mouni Roy, Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal playing pivotal parts. The story is set on the backdrop of India winning its first gold medal in hockey as a free nation in the 1948 Summer Olympics.

Popular television actress Mouni Roy, who shot to fame with hit show 'Naagin' will be making her Bollywood debut with this film. The movie is set to hit the screens on August 15, 2018
