In 2016, she was seen in MSG: The Warrior Lion Heart, where once again she shared the screen space with papa Ram Rahim. But this time the film was directed by this father-daughter jodi as well. It happens to tell a story of a medieval warrior fighting against aliens for the honour of his land.
In 2017, Honeypreet starred in Hind Ka Napak Ko Jawab: MSG Lion Heart 2. This was a sequel to MSG: The Warrior Lion Heart. Again, this father-daughter joined forces to direct this venture and even promoted this venture on several platforms together. It is reportedly based on 2016 Uri attack and its aftermath.
In the same year, came a comedy film again directed by Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh and Honeypreet Insan. The film also had Honeypreet and Ram Rahim acting in the film.
Honeypreet has been charged with inciting the riots which took place after Ram Ram was convicted in rape cases. The Haryana Police had put her on its list of 43 most wanted people list after the Dera supporters went on a rampage on August 25.
The violence left 41 people dead and several others injured, prompting the administration to issue non-bailable arrest warrants against several people, including Honeypreet, for inciting the mob.
