Ittefaq: Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna’s movie trailer out – Watch

Mumbai: Directed by Abhay Chopra (late BR Chopra's grandson), Ittefaq starring Sidharth Malhotra, Sonakshi Sinha and Akshaye Khanna is apparently an adaptation of Yash Chopra’s 1969 namesake film featuring Rajesh Khanna, Nanda and Madan Puri.

The trailer of the thriller revolving around a double-murder case was unveiled today.

Shah Rukh Khan, who had announced the launch of the film, took to Twitter to share the link to the trailer.

Check it out here:

Ittefaq is a thriller which revolves around two eye-witnesses who are also the prime suspects in a double murder case investigated by a police officer.

Akshaye plays the officer investigating the complex case with eye witnesses narrating entirely different versions, thereby making investigation even more difficult to decode.

Jointly BR Films, Dharma Productions and Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd, Ittefaq is a crucial film for both Sonakshi and Sidharth who haven’t had a great time at the Box Office for quite some time now. Sona’s Akira and Noor tanked at the Box Office and so did Sidharth’s Baar Baar Dekho and A Gentleman.

It is good to see a fine artiste like Akshay back on the silverscreen. We have seen him playing a variety of roles in the recent past and it would be interesting to see how he pulls of his role in Ittefaq. Akshay was a part of comedy/actioner Dishoom and thriller Mom that released in 2016 and 2017 respectively.

Slated to release on November 3, Ittefaq is one of Bollywood’s most anticipated films in the thriller genre. It’s been a while we have seen such a film and hence it would be interesting to see if it succeeds in raking the moolah at the Box Office.
