Kedarnath Day 1 Box Office collections: Sara Ali Khan starrer opens on a positive note

New Delhi: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan's daughter Sara Ali Khan's debut film 'Kedarnath' has opened on a positive note at the Box Office. Although the film has received mixed reviews, Sara's performance in the film has been lauded by all. Daughter of two of the most promising actors in Bollywood, Sara has proved that acting is truly in her genes. The first day collections of the film is not humungous but not bad either.

Trade analyst and noted film critic Taran Adarsh has shared the collections on Twitter. He wrote, "#Kedarnath takes a healthy start... Biz picked up during the course of the day... Sat and Sun biz crucial... Fri ₹ 7.25 cr. India biz."

Owing to Sara's spectacular performance in the film, Kedarnath is most likely to see a good jump on the weekends. The film is likely to upward trend in collections in Delhi NCR and the multiplexes of big cities in UP.

Kedarnath is a romantic tragedy set in the backdrop of the flash floods that wrecked the temple town, Uttrakhand, in June 2013. It is a perfect amalgamation of love, religion, passion and spirituality. 

Kedarnath marks the debut of Sara Ali Khan and also presents the second association of Abhishek Kapoor with Ronnie Screwvala along Sushant Singh Rajput after Kai Po Che.
