New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor starrer PadMan has been making headliens ever since it was announced. The movie tells the story of a man called Arunachalam Muruganantham, who braved all odds to ensure his wife gets a healthy and long life, giving India its very own 'PadMan'.
The movie was much-awaited by the audience as Akshay's last movie, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha was a huge success.
The second-day collections of the movie are out and the extraordinary tale of an ordinary man is picking up pace at box office.
Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote-

Akshay Kumar plays Lakshmikant Chauhan in the movie while Radhika Apte is seen as Gayatri—his doting wife. Sonam Kapoor plays the role of Pari, a modern young woman of today.
PadMan was initially slated to release on January 25, but the makers decided to shift the film's release for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat. Akshay’s wife Twinkle Khanna, who is an interior-decorator/author, has turned a film producer with this venture.
