New Delhi: Actor Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra, who were last seen together six years ago in 'Ishaqzaade', are all set to romance each other on the screen in 'Namastey England'.

The film has gone on floors today. The team will also travel to Ludhiana, Patiala, Dhaka, Paris, Brussels and London for the film shoot. The film will be shot at 75 different locations spread across Amritsar, Ludhiana and Patiala.

The lead pair will be seen in Punjabi characters in the film, which will be directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.

Apart from 'Namastey England', the duo will also be seen in Dibakar Banerjee's 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar', the shooting of which was wrapped up only last month.

Recently, Arjun and Parineeti along with director Vipul visited Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings for the film before commencing their Amritsar schedule.

The filmmaker had earlier told PTI that this is the perfect time to shoot in Punjab as the weather there is neither too cold nor too hot and the crops will make for stunning visuals.

The film is expected to be released in December this year.

Both Parineeti and Arjun are good friends in real life. During an exclusive chat with news agency IANS, Parineet quoted, "I am very excited and looking forward to both the films as he is one of my closest friends in the film industry. I am happy he is my co-star."

'Namastey England' is the sequel to Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's 2007 hit film 'Namastey London'. It is to be noted that Parineeti has been paired opposite Akshay for the first time in 'Kesari'. The film will be directed by Anurag Singh and will be produced by Akshay and Karan Johar.
