Priyanka Chopra a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’? Here’s the truth
Rumours have been rife that the former Miss World will have a cameo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film – Padmavati.
Mumbai: Indian beauty Priyanka Chopra is busy promoting her debut Hollywood flick – Baywatch – an adaptation of popular Ameircan sit-com by the same name. She is back in Mumbai and busy reading scripts to finalise her upcoming projects.
Rumours have been rife that the former Miss World will have a cameo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film – Padmavati – starring Deepika Padukone in the titular role, Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji.
PeeCee put all speculations to rest by saying that she isn’t a part of the film based on one of the bravest Queens of India – Rani Padmavati.
“Just because I'm Sanjay sir's favourite, doesn't mean I'll be in all his films! We have spoken for other films but not Padmavati,” dnaindia.com quoted the actress as saying during a press conference.
For the unversed, Priyanka appeared in a special song in SLB's blockbuster - 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela - Ram Leela' and played a pivotal role (Kashibai) in the ace filmmaker's 'Bajirao Mastani'.
