‘Raabta’ in trouble: Makers of SS Rajamouli’s ‘Magadheera’ go to court against Sushant Singh Rajput starrer’s release

Mumbai: Dinesh Vijan’s ‘Raabta’ starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Kriti Sanon has landed in trouble as the makers of SS Rajamouli directorial ‘Magadheera’ have approached the Hyderabad court to seek in injunction against the film’s release.

According to Indian movie trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the producers of Ram Charan and Kajal Aggarwal starrer ‘Magadheera’ have gone to the court contending that the Raabta makers have copied the unique story and plotline in violation of its copyright.

The Hyderabad court issued a notice and posted the matter to June 1 to decide whether the film should be permitted to release on June 9.

Trade analyst also took to Twitter Thursday afternoon to share the official statement by Allu Arvind.
