Mumbai: The makers of Race 3 have been busy introducing members of their family. After unveiling posters featuring Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Daisy Shah, it was for the Race 3 family to introduce its new member Saqib Saleem.

Meet Suraj, the angry young man here:

Saqib has trained with superstar Salman Khan's trainer Rakesh Udiyar and he has undergone a major transformation in terms of his physique for the film.

"'Race' is very close to my heart and to get in shape for it has been my priority. Four months of rigorous workout, yoga and avoiding food that I love have got me the desired results," Saqib said in a statement.

"The thriller is all about action and stunts. I wanted to be equipped with an agile and fit body to be able to perform them all. I've been spending two hours in the gym every day. I've been doing action workshops on kicking and punching too. Besides training with my trainer Vilayat Husain, I'm training with Rakesh Udiyar, Salman Khan's trainer, for the action sequences," he added.

The film directed by choreographer-turned filmmaker Remo D'Souza also stars Anil Kapoor.

Remo has been roped in by Ramesh Taurani for the first time to direct an instalment of the Race franchise. The first two instalments – Race and Race 2 were directed by Abbas – Mustan. Moreover, the film marks Salman’s first association with the Race franchise. The first two chapters had Saif Ali Khan on board.

Race 3 will bring super-hit Kick Jodi Salman and Jacqueline together for the second time. Interestingly, Jacqueline has been a part of the first two instalments too.

The third instalment of the super-hit franchise will release on June 15 on the festive occasion of Eid.
