New Delhi: The new poster of Ajay Devgn-starrer 'Raid' is out. It features the majority of the star cast in it with the tagline saying, "heroes don’t always come in uniform."

Divided into two parts, the upper half of the poster features Ajay with his team whereas the lower half shows Saurabh Shukla, in a disgruntled look, lounging on a bed.

The film is slated for release on March 16.

Set in the early 1980s with Lucknow as the background, the film revolves around a true incident of a popular and well-crafted raid carried out by a team of officers. Ajay will be seen in the role of a no-nonsense Income Tax officer while Saurabh Shukla is speculated to play the negative lead.

The movie also stars Ileana D'Cruz in the pivotal role. This is the second time Ajay and Ileana will be reuniting on the big screen after last year release 'Baadshaho'.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest poster of the much-awaited film and wrote, "Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'Cruz and Saurabh Shukla… New poster of #Raid… Directed by Raj Kumar Gupta… 16 March 2018 release."

'Raid' is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and written by Ritesh Shah.

Earlier, on February 6, the film trailer was released.

The 48-year-old actor has proved his versatility several times in the past and his performance in 'Raid' is most likely to add a new feather in his cap. This will be Ajay's first film to release this year.

The powerhouse of talent had two releases in 2017 - 'Baadshaho' and 'Golmaal Again'.
