New Delhi: This bit of news is surely going to make your jaws drop. Seldom do we see a mainstream commercial actor playing a risque character on-screen. Although Akshay Kumar did a cameo in 'Dishoom' where he played a gay it was presented in a lighter tone. But never has an A-lister Bollywood actor played a bisexual on the big screens.
However, the latest buzz right now is that maverick filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Padmavati' will see Ranveer Singh playing a bisexual man. According to Pinkvilla.com, Ranveer, who is playing Alauddin Khilji's role in the magnum opus, will reportedly be seen having a fascination for slave-general Malik Kafur.
Ranveer's character will reportedly be a bisexual on-screen. And interestingly, 'Neerja' actor Jim Sarbh will be seen in Malik Kafur's character reportedly. Efforts are on to keep his look under wraps.
Padmavati features Deepika Padukone in the titular role of Rani Padmini and Shahid Kapoor as Raja Rawal Ratan Singh.
Earlier, Fawad Khan played a gay in Dharma Productions' highly appreciated 'Kapoor & Sons'.
