New Delhi: Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha graced the silver screen together in two franchise of 'Dabangg' and the duo is all set to appear together for the third installment of the film. The movie is expected to go on floors this June.
As per latest industry buzz, before 'Dabangg 3', Salman will be seen with Sonakshi in her upcoming comedy film 'Welcome to New York'. Both the actors recently shot for a song sequence of the film, said reports. The romantic number, as it is said to be, was shot in New York.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Sonakshi confirmed the reports and said, "It was really exciting to be reuniting with Salman for our third film together after 'Dabangg' and 'Dabangg 2'. It was nostalgic in many ways. The romantic, melodious number has been filmed beautifully."
Directed by Chakri Toleti, 'Welcome to New York' is a comedy film that stars Sonakshi, Diljit Dosanjh and Karan Johar. Apart from Salman, the film will also have cameos by Sushant Singh Rajput, Lara Dutta, Riteish Deshmukh and Boman Irani. The film is set to be released on February 23 next year.
In the movie, Diljit will be seen in the role of a sloppy recovery agent and Sonakshi will be seen as a fashion designer.
Apart from 'WTNY', Salman will also be seen doing a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan's 'Zero' that also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif in important roles.
