Salman Khan's 'Tubelight': 600 actors were trained by Indian Army

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make his upcoming film 'Tubelight' a grand success. And, in order to make things look closer to reality, director Kabir Khan adopted an unconventional technique.

According to a DNA report, real army men were brought in to train the actors for some scenes in the movie. Even boot camps were organised for the cast so that they could replicate gestures of a true soldier.

Interestingly, by the end, all the actors gained a lot from the Indian Army and their efforts were translated perfectly into their on-screen performances.

Based on 1962 Sino-Indian War, this historical war drama also features Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and the late Om Puri besides Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo.

'Tubelight' is slated to release on June 23 this year.
