Vidya Balan’s Tumhari Sulu rock-steady at the Box Office; will Firangi Kapil Sharma pose a challenge

Mumbai: Vidya Balan starrer Tumhari Sulu has done exceedingly well at the Box Office. The film has minted a little under Rs 30 crores since its release on November 17 and has remained rock-steady at the Box Office in the absence of any other film’s release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter to share the latest Box Office collection figures.

He wrote: “#TumhariSulu remained ROCK-STEADY... Decline of 52.02% from Week 1, STRONG TRENDING... [Week 2] Fri 1.25 cr, Sat 2.35 cr, Sun 2.81 cr, Mon 82 lakhs, Tue 81 lakhs, Wed 72 lakhs, Thu 73 lakhs. Total: ₹ 29.27 cr.

Week 1: ₹ 19.78 cr

Week 2: ₹ 9.49 cr

Total: ₹ 29.27 cr

With Kapil Sharma starrer Firangi in theatres, it would be interesting to see if Tumhari Sulu continues to draw audiences to the screens.

In the comedy-drama Balan plays a radio jockey again after Rajkumar Hirani’s Lage Raho Munna Bhai starring Sanjay Dutt.

Tumhari Sulu has helped Vidya reclaim her share at the Box Office.
