Stores shove LiLo’s fashion line 6126 off their shelves

New York: Lindsay Lohan’s fashion line 6126 promised to be very popular when it was launched in 2008, but it seems that stores and boutiques have now moved it off their shelves.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, the stores had not carried the brand for a while. Kristi Kaylor, founder of the 6126 brand, is pushing a line of Lohan-designed handbags, but again, no word on where they can be found outside of the e-commerce site. "Major department stores are not our business right now. We’re looking for retail partners to represent our entire collection,” the New York Daily News quoted her as saying. Last month, Lohan and Kaylor released sketches for a line of footwear to bring some attention back to the faltering brand. The high heels, wedges and boots were "inspired by old Hollywood glamour [with] a modern edge" and would have "modern accents like hardware and mixed leathers," Kaylor said. The fashion line itself was inspired by the actress`` hero: Marilyn Monroe – 6126 represents her date of birth, June 1, 1926. "Everybody wants to write a negative story about Lindsay right now, but the real story is that Lindsay is a very talented designer," she told WWD. ANI
