New Delhi: Hyundai showcased the hatchback i30 in the Auto Expo 2016. 

The car is expected to be launched in India towards the later part of 2016. Courtesy the success of i10 and i20 in India, i30 managed to generate enough buzz.

As per the website dedicated to the car, 11 colour variants will be on offer. The car will have 17'' double spoke wheels.

LED Daytime Running Lights improve road visibility, while adding an elegant style feature to the i30. Safety is also enhanced by giving other vehicles an additional light source for reference.

Outside India, the car is sold in both petrol and diesel engines in the standard form and also comes with a turbocharged 1.6-litre petrol engine.

The petrol engines make 100PS/120PS of peak power while the diesel will be available with 110PS/136PS of peak power options. The 1.6-litre turbocharged version will get a shattering 186PS of peak power and twin exhausts.

The new car is expected to be launched at just under Rs 10 lakh with the top of the line diesel versions coming in at about the Rs 15 lakh mark. The Turbo on the other hand is likely to be available at about Rs 20 lakh, when launched.
