Susan Boyle set to become multi-millionairess on b`day

London: Scottish singer Susan Boyle is set to become a multi-millionaire on her birthday when she receives a 4 million pound pay cheque.

Boyle, 48, who will be celebrating her 49th birthday on April 1, is earning the cheque from her worldwide appearances and sales of her chart-topping debut album, `I Dreamed A Dream` which went platinum in six countries. It broke the British charts` record for the fastest-selling debut album in history, with 3.1 million bought in its first month. Elsewhere she has sold more than 8.5 million copies. "Every day Susan wakes up having to pinch herself. She cannot believe how the public has taken her to their hearts everywhere," the Mirror quoted a source as saying. "She has not wanted for anything since finding fame and now she will reap the benefit of her hard work. "It``s her first taste of what serious money is like and it``s all hers," the source added. Next weekend Boyle, who has been in great demand in the US, is due to fly out to Tokyo and then to Australia for a series of appearances. ANI
