Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya team up for ‘Love u…Mr Kalakar’

Mumbai: Together they created magic in the late 80’s with Box Office hit ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, which even till date, is considered a masterpiece. Well, with magnum opus like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, the famous jodi of Salman Khan and Sooraj Barjatya is all set to make a comeback. Buzz has it that after a long hiatus of eleven years, Salman Khan is back in the Rajshri camp for a rather small but significant role in Sooraj’s next movie. However this time, instead of directing his typical multi-starrers, Sooraj will be playing producer and Salman Khan will play a cameo role in this upcoming film called ‘Love u...Mr Kalakar’, which has Tusshar Kapoor and Amrita Rao in lead roles. The film will be helmed by S Manasvi, who has also written its storyline. With this project, both Sallu and Sooraj are making efforts to refurbish their successful professional past. Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Salman and Sooraj’s friendship go back a long way. They made their debuts together in ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’ in the late ‘80s. Salman has immense respect for Sooraj and the entire Barjatya family but he didn’t work with Sooraj for many years. Sooraj met Salman recently and requested him to do a cameo in his film. Salman immediately agreed.” Vikas Kapoor, Salman’s business manager, said, “Soorajji met Salman for this cameo. Salman agreed.”
