Mumbai: Salman Khan’s much awaited film ‘Mental’ has been in news right from its inception, since it comes across as a genre that is new for the actor.
The release date of the film has been hugely under speculation and if the latest buzz is anything by then ‘Mental’ might hit the silver screen on January 24, which happens to be the Republic Day week.
Directed by Sohail Khan, ‘Mental’ also stars the very talented actress Tabu and Mukul Dev. The film will also see TV personalities Sana Khan of the ‘Bigg Boss 6’ fame, Yash Tonk and Vatsal Seth.
Talking to a leading daily, a source close to the Khan family said, “While Salman and Sohail were initially contemplating releasing their film mid-January, they`re now planning to come out with it on January 24. Previously, they were doubtful about this date as Republic Day falls on a Sunday.”
Salman Khan was apparently believed to have been unhappy with the unusual title of his film. But who knows the title might prove lucky to this hunk of an actor, who is the undisputed King of the Box Office!
