September 2016 has been a good month for the auto industry. The month witnessed a lot of new cars showcased at the Paris Motor Show along with a lot of special/facelifted editions of existing cars being launched. Preparing for a grand festive season in October, the industry witnessed some good number in sales, with Maruti and Mercedes-Benz making a record high domestic sales. Also, Hyundai will be re-introducing the Tucson SUV in the country to rival the Mahindra XUV500 and Honda will be introducing the latest generation Accord in the market.
