Zeebi BureauNew Delhi: Ford Motors have re-launched and re-branded their iconic Ford Fiesta Classic for the Indian roads. Ford Fiesta Classic will now shed Fiesta from its name and will be called as Ford Classic.
Apart from revising few designs and making some changes in its features, the company has also decided to lower the price of the car across all its variants.
The base variant of petrol-powered Ford Classic has been priced at Rs 5.53 lakh, while the top-end diesel variants come with a price tag of Rs 8.47 lakh.
Looks wise, Ford Classic gets a new set of alloys, a new boot spoiler, rear and front fog lights and some minor design tweaks to its exterior.
Inside the car, wooden panel has been replaced with black plastics with aluminum inserts and safety features like dual front air bags and ABS has been included. Music system with Bluetooth connectivity is a new inclusion in the new Ford Classic.
Nothing has changed in the engine. The Ford Classic will continue to be offered in six variants comprising both petrol (1.6-litre Duratec engine) and diesel (1.4-litre Duratorq engine) options.
