It`s a relief to do comedy without being mute: Tusshar

New Delhi: Tusshar Kapoor tasted success with his mute act in the hit `Golmaal` franchise and the actor is back to comedy with `Hum Tum Shabana` - only this time he gets to speak.
The 34-year-old actor stars alongside Shreyas Talpade and Minissha Lamba in the film and is happy that he would have dialogues. "Even though `Golmaal 3` was a huge success, I didn`t have a word to say in all these movies. Then I did films like `Shor In The City` and `Love U... Mr Kalakaar`. Thankfully in `Hum Tum Shabana` my director Sagar Ballary didn`t ask me to go mute else I would I have really revolted," said Tusshar. Minnisha plays the title role of Shabana, Tusshar plays a manager who is just climbing up the corporate ladder in an event management company. It is a battle of one-upmanship between Tusshar and Shreyas (who plays his colleague) as they apply different tricks to woo the actress. "The film is about this competition between two guys who are fighting it out for the girl. This brings in a romantic angle as well but at the end of it all it is an out and out comedy. It`s a game of chess that is being played between the two of us with a common aim of getting our Shabana," Tusshar said. Describing his character in the movie, the actor said, "I am playing someone who is quite proper, sharp and can`t be taken for a ride. He knows how to sweet talk his way out of difficult situations." The movie is set to hit the theatres on September 23. Tusshar will next appear in `Dirty Picture` as one of the three men in South siren Silk Smitha`s life. The lead role of Silk Smitha is played by Vidya Balan. PTI
