Kolkata: Mahindra First Choice Wheels, one of India's largest multi-brand pre-owned car companies, is planning to sell one lakh vehicles by 2015 and 45,000 by the end of this fiscal, a top company official said Friday.
"We are expecting to sell 45,000 cars by the end of this fiscal and register a growth of around 35 percent over the last fiscal," Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd vice president (operations and network) Yatin Chadha told reporters here.
"By 2015, we target to rollout 1 lakh cars," Chadha said.
The company had sold 34,000 cars in the last financial year and registered a growth of around 25 percent.
"In east we target to rollout 5,000 cars by the fiscal end and register a growth of around 60 percent over the last fiscal. We will also increase out outlets to 50 during the period from the present 45," said Debdut Bagchi, zonal manager east, said.
The firm had sold 3,300 units in east during last fiscal.
It has a market share of 11 percent pan-India basis in the organised pre-owned car market and said around 70 percent of its sales comes from cars which are 2-4 years old.
