Salman is at the top-spot right now: Aamir Khan

Mumbai: Bollywood has seen a change of strategy in promoting and marketing its films. Salman who has been delivering super hits one after the other has been crowned the new king of Bollywood by many in the industry and the latest testimony to the fact was the admittance of Aamir Khan that Sallu was the top hero at the moment. Shah Rukh Khan has ruled the industry for almost two decades but in recent years, Sallu has delivered projects which broke all his records at the Box Office. With his latest film ‘Bodyguard’ setting the BO registers ringing he re-established he is the real new King of Bollywood. Recently, when a few directors and actors in the industry were questioned by media on who do they thought the number one star in Bollywood was, it wasn’t surprising to know they had the same name to say- Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan. While MBKD actor Imran Khan feels his maamu Aamir is James Bond. Aamir Khan himself has the opposite to say, “I don`t play the number game, but as far as I`m concerned, Salman is at the top-spot right now. I don`t mind if they place me at `No. 50` after that,” he quoted. However Salman had a rather modest and professional approach to offer, “I don`t want to fight a battle of titles; I want to give a tough fight with my work,” he said.
