Mumbai: In a rare gesture of reaching out to his overseas fans, Bollywood actor Salman Khan is all set to showcase a limited ‘Being Human’ collection in Dubai. The ‘Being Human’ collection comprises of exclusive watches, paintings and T-shirts, which the actor releases at World Trade Centre in Dubai on May 27 and 28. It is believed that Salman will showcase the exquisite products to a limited audience, for the actor fears imitation of his designs. The collection will be displayed by leading Indian and Pakistani stars and sportsmen. Talking to a news daily, a source said, “Salman has been worried as the designs of ‘Being Human’ T-shirts are being copied and sold on the streets in Mumbai. He was very upset because he raises funds through this charitable cause. Because of such malpractices, all the money is going in the wrong hands. He has finally decided that he will only showcase his collection at the moment and will officially launch it later when the trust’s administration is in the right hands.” “This is the first time stars from Pakistan will be part of the ‘Being Human’ collection. Apart from Bollywood actors, cricketer Shoaib Akhtar, singer Atif Aslam, and actor Humayun Saeed are few Pakistanis who have agreed to be part of Salman’s noble cause. The two-day collection showcase will be held at the end of this month,” the source added.
