New Delhi: Tata motors' most anticipated Kite hatchback has been officially christened as Zica. The  company, through has promoted partial videos and pictures of the car on social media.

It tweeted, “And finally, presenting the name of the next big thing - Zica from Tata Motors”.

Tata Motors has released a video of the car with Zica moniker. It shared the video via twitter:
 

The car maker has said that Zica is made up of two words Zippy and Cars. It tweeted:

To start with, Tata Motors has roll-out the association campaign, #madeofgreat, starring Lionel Messi.

Going by reports, Kite will be powered by 1.05-litre, 3-cylinder diesel engine producing 64bhp power and 140Nm of peak torque.

The petrol model will get 1.2-litre Revotron unit. It is the same engine that powers the Bolt.
