Decision to quit Oasis has been good: Noel Gallagher

Washington: Noel Gallagher has insisted that his decision to quit Oasis has been good for him as well as for his brother Liam and fans of his old band.
However, the 44-year-old songwriter admits he does have regrets about the “apocalyptic” way the band disbanded. “The only regret I have of the night in Paris is not playing the show. I should have done the gig then let everything simmer down. Things would have looked a little less apocalyptic six months down the line,” a website quoted him as saying. “Saying that, where we’ve all ended up ... Liam thinks he’s in the best band in the world - good for him. I’m comfortable doing what I’m doing - good for me. The fans, instead of getting one Oasis album every three years, they get two ... everyone’s a winner,” he said. The ‘If I Had a Gun’ hitmaker quit the super-group in August 2009 after a huge backstage fight with his brother and bandmate. ANI
