Singer Melanie has denied reports that the Spice Girls are preparing for a comeback.

London: Singer Melanie Chisholm has denied reports that the Spice Girls are preparing for a comeback tour saying all five girls are too busy to reunite.

"There`s no chance of that happening. Don`t believe what you`ve read elsewhere. We have no plans to tour again," contactmusic.com quoted her as saying. "We all have our own projects going on and have families too, so we couldn`t find the time even if we wanted to." Reports said that singers Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown and Chisholm met to finalise plans for a new album, a DVD, merchandising and a new tour. But they are having a tough time convincing Victoria Beckham, who is reluctant to rejoin. IANS
