Anna Paquin weds `True Blood’ co-star Stephen Moyer in California

New York: Anna Paquin has wed her ‘True Blood’ co-star Stephen Moyer this week at a private residence in Malibu, California.

According to a news website, both the stars quietly wed on Saturday evening. Paquin, 28, and Moyer, 40, exchanged vows in front of several guests including actor Elijah Wood and ‘True Blood’ co-star Carrie Preston. The news comes only days after the duo, along with ‘True Blood’ co-star Alexander Skarsgard, appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone wearing nothing but spatters of blood and spoke about the erotic nature of vampires. Moyer proposed to his Canadian-born girlfriend last August in Hawaii. "There was a song in the first season, `White Sandy Beach in Hawaii,` which was kind of funny and ironic," a news daily quoted him as telling Access Hollywood. "[It] all started out as a joke and then we decided to go to Hawaii with my kids," he added. The couple started dating while filming season one of ‘True Blood’ in 2008, but did not confirm their relationship until February 2009. ANI
