New Delhi: The advisory group, constituted by the Power Ministry to help resolve the issues impacting the sector's growth, will meet again in the next 15 days for further review.
The group comprising power sector bigwigs including Cyrus Mistry (Tata Power), Anil Ambani (Reliance Power) and G M Rao (GMR Group) met Power Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia today, who briefed the media after the meeting.
The over two-hour long meeting discussed issues ranging from the new Standard Bidding Documents (SBDs) to fuel shortages and the pooling of imported and domestic coal price.
The over 20-member group also saw participation from leading power PSUs such as NTPC, PFC and Power Grid Corporation.
Former bureaucrats from power ministry and ministry of environment and forests are also part of the advisory group
The formal announcement of the date of the second meeting is yet to be made.
