New York: Rumours are abuzz that Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger is about to ink a multimillion-dollar deal to be a judge on Simon Cowell`s ‘X Factor’ show.

If the deal materializes, it will make Nicole a direct rival to Jennifer Lopez on ‘American Idol’, reports the New York Post. As per the sources, sultry Scherzinger is a favourite with Cowell after she made a guest appearance as a judge on the hit British version of the show this year. Cowell, who is executive producer of ‘X Factor,’ will also be on the judges panel, after he dramatically quit ‘Idol’. However, about Scherzinger reports, Cowell`s rep said: "It is far too early.” ANI
